PINC Retreat

PINC (Purity Is No Compromise) is an overnight retreat that will be held at Springbrook Community Church. We have space for 120 girls who will sleep "slumber party style" on air mattresses (if they choose to bring them) and in sleeping bags. Girls will be in introductory presentations with all ages, but will break into age specific smaller sessions for "prayer ports" on Friday night and teachings on Saturday. We are sensitive to providing age-appropriate material.

Friday evening will feature a powerful concert by "4th Point" - a high-energy, Chicagoland Christian rock band. We also will incorporate prayer stations, a huge art project and - back by popular demand - a photo booth. Saturday will feature more in-depth teaching on friendship, pre-marital sex and intimacy, depression, popularity, dating and relationships and many other "hot topics."

We also will offer a mom's discussion group on Saturday afternoon which will provide a springboard to begin conversations with your daughter on topics covered over the weekend. Immediately following, we will have our annual "tea cup presentation" that is the ceremonial end to every retreat we host.

The theme for the 2016 retreat is LIVE LIFE ANCHORED based on our key verse: Hebrews 6:19 "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."

FAQs

Is there an age limit to enter the event?

This event is for any girl currently enrolled in 6th - 12th grades. Students from all school districts are welcome.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

No laptops or electronic tablets such as I-Pads or Kindles. Please be considerate with all cell phone use. Please do not risk bringing any valuable items and PLEASE put your name on any popular items (such as NorthFace Jackets or sweatshirts) to avoid any confusion.
